Placement changes how long your tattoo lasts and how it reads. Here's what works where.
Forearm
Great for medium and large designs. Low friction area — expect 7–10 days of wear.
Wrist / inner arm
Best for fine-line and script. Watch out for washing hands often — lasts around 5 days.
Upper back / shoulder blade
Ideal for larger, statement pieces. Minimal rubbing means max longevity — up to 2 weeks.
Collarbone / chest
Perfect for fine-line and delicate designs. Avoid necklaces on top.
Ribs / side
Show-off placement for medium designs — comfortable clothing helps it last.
Ankle / calf
Fun for small pieces. Watch socks and shoes rubbing the design.
Behind the ear / neck
Micro designs only. High visibility, moderate wear.
Hand / fingers
